{in love} kristina + ryan, baraboo, wi

Artistic freedom, these two words totally sum up Stina and Ryan's shoot, possibly to the point that we add it into our contract. I've known Stina since high school and she was willing to do anything for us and our creative ideas. Thank goodness Ryan is so well trained - he'll do anything Stina says. :)

We did their engagement shoot on the 26th of May, and we were a little worried about the weather and although the sky was one huge grey cloud, we didn't get wet at all-well, I didn't get wet, but everyone else waded into Devil's Lake for some sweet shots under the concession stand, I was loving the pillars!

We started out the session down at Lower Ochsner's Park with the super sweet bridge, and the little hill of dandelion fluff. Then we headed out to Devil's Lake, North Shore, where we had Stina and Ryan brave the dead fish and kamikaze sparrows all in the name of artistic freedom. We had so much fun with both of them. Kristina and Ryan are perfect for each other, as soon as they got out of the car, they were holding hands and cuddling, they are so much in love that just being around them makes you feel all gooey inside. Seriously, I could just hug them they are so cute!

We finished up our shoot in downtown Baraboo just as the last of the light was fading, but for once the marquee at the Al Ringling was on while we were shooting, so we had to get a shot of them with the theatre. We had so much fun and totally can't wait for their wedding next April, even if it's only half as exciting as their engagement shoot- we will have a blast!

This shot is my favorite from the entire session, I'm thinking perhaps a new canvas? I love the field of dandelion fluff. The wet backs and two mosquito bites were totally worth it.

I found out tonight that this one is Ryan's favorite:

Hey, I've been to Baraboo! We used to go there during the summer to the Circus museum there. Loved it!

I love all of these, but especially the dandelion fluff and the marquee sign! Fabulous shots!

Thanks, Christine. I was loving the dandelion fluff that day, too! I'm so happy that Kristina and Ryan were willing to do anything for us!
