{info} dressing for portrait sessions

I know, the cherries totally don't fit in with the theme, but they are a super fun shot, so I though, why not?

People will often ask about what to wear for their portrait sessions. Well, wear something that you are comfortable in, feel free to bring a change of clothes or two, we'll let you know what would look best. Jeans are always great because you can move around easily, and when we ask you to do something crazy, like sit on that rock-you don't have to worry that you'll ruin your snazzy pants. If there is more than one person in the shoot, it's best to try and coordinate with each other, now this doesn't mean that your outifts need to match, like sailor suits, but if you're wearing a fancy dress and the other person is in holey jeans and an old t-shirt, it's probably not going to look the best. Solid colors look great on everybody, sometimes bold patterns try to take away from the people that we are trying to photograph, even if it is your favourite Hawaiian print shirt, it will take all the glory and leave none for your own cuteness.

Keep it simple, that's always the best motto to go with.

What a great shot. This could certainly be found in a magazine.
